Gangsters in our suburbs!
Peace and quiet, law and order are all threatened by the arrival of two unsavory gangsters amongst us.
Fortunately their antics and mayhem are to be confined to the stage in the new production of Bugsy Malone
In this film noir spoof, the message is one of good, clean fun; the characters are wonderful cartoon cutouts; and the weapons of choice are "splurge guns', flour bombs, and custard pies. Bugsy Malone promises to entertain audiences of any age.
The two rival gangsters, Fat Sam and Dandy Dan are to face off each night. Dan is in possession of a new and deadly weapon, the dreaded "splurge gun". As the custard pies fly, Fat Sam engages the help of Bugsy Malone, a smooth city slicker who up till now has been more occupied in sweet talking Blousey Brown, a 'would be' girl singer. Will Bugsy be successful? Can he really save the day and get the girl? Or will Dandy Dan achieve his goal of total domination? Come along to laugh your way through this jovial spoof and discover the answers.
