Want to make your own Rock Band levels? Tired of waiting for Rhythm Heaven on the Switch? Learn to make your own rhythm games in this hands-on workshop!
We will go through an example project that demonstrates how to use the Wwise Editor [ Ссылка ] along with Unity [ Ссылка ] to make our own rhythm-action game.
Along the way, we'll learn about some typical rhythm game concepts like beatmaps, call-and-response gameplay, and timing windows.
To follow along, be sure to make accounts with Unity and Wwise, and install the following software versions:
Unity version 2020.3.4 (later versions will probably work)
Wwise 2021, latest version
Some game development or Unity experience will be helpful, but is not required!
Corey Bertelsen is a sound designer, game developer and educator. He teaches classes in Music Games and Sound Design at NYU, and sometimes updates his website at 8ude.com -- Watch live at [ Ссылка ]
