Folks have asked me to do a film on what we take bike packing so here you go!
This is our 3 season Bike Packing set up which includes tent and food and water for 2 days and while folk get obsessed with weight etc we try to do things on a real world budget using reasonable priced kit that most folk could afford. £180 Surly frame bags are not cheap I know!, but they are brilliant and are made by Revelate Designs and I still own an original Epic frame bag made by Eric Parsons (Of revelate Designs) that is 12 years old now so buy wise and buy once, everything else listed cost under £300 so you don't need to spend a fortune.
This set up is not the lightest probably but works fine for us and partner G has Bikepacked with this set up probably more miles than most...
We use the same set up on the same bikes - Surly Pugsley 2.0`s which we have both 4.8" Fatbike Wheels and 29+ 29 x 3" wheels...
