In the latest updates, Aditya Thackeray, a Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA and former minister, has dropped a fresh political bomb by asserting that before his uprising in June 2022, the present Chief Minister Eknath Shinde allegedly "cried and apprehended arrest by central probe authorities." According to Thackeray Jr., speaking to a private television channel, "Shinde had been to our house (Matoshri) before the uprising he wailed stating he would land in jail if he didn't join with the Bharatiya Janata Party." As a new political controversy broke up, he said that Shinde and the 40 MLAs left the original Shiv Sena "simply to keep their seats and for money there was no other motive for them to depart."
