I bought this guitar on ebay almost brand new with hard case after falling in love with a different Epiphone SG that I gave to my musical partner Christa. It required a bit of work to get it working well but now I quite like it. Here's my review. (Note: More differences between the Modern and the Standard version I didn't mention in the video because I didn't know until I looked it up: different pickups (Probuckers vs Alnico Classic Pro), slightly different neck shape, different fretboard wood (ebony vs laurel), different nut material (ivory Tusq vs nubone), and 2 more frets (24 vs 22)! I also missed that the top tone knob is a phase switch that gives you that strat "quack" when you're in the both-pickups position by switching the wiring of the two pickups to be out of phase with each other.)
