Best Anime Most Underrated World Trigger Chika Amatori Sniper Training
Chika Amatori (雨あま取とり 千ち佳か, Amatori Chika ?) is one of the four main characters in the manga and anime series World Trigger[13] and the main heroine of the series. She is a B-rank Sniper and member of Tamakoma Second.
Chika has short black hair with an ahoge in the middle of her head. She also has violet/purple eyes.
As a C-rank agent, she has the standard white C-rank border uniform, but with pants tucked inside themselves and lighter stripes, which seem to be the standard for female agents. She also wears a jacket over her uniform.
As a B-rank agent, she wears a uniform similar to Osamu's, but with a jacket with a more symmetrical design, having no shoulder guards and a suspender-like detail starting on the top of her jacket's right shoulder, ending at around the height of her waist, connecting to a horizontal line. Also connecting to this line are two holsters, on either side of her jacket. The sides of her jacket's sleeves have thin black stripes that become thicker on her shoulders, surrounding the Tamakoma Branch emblem. She also wears her collar folded, unlike Osamu and Yūma who leave it up. The jacket is bigger than her body, and covers her black shorts. Her Squad's emblem is located on her left chest. She wears gloves longer than Osamu and Yūma's, and they extend over her jacket's sleeves. She also wears knee-high boots with knee pads.
Chika is timid and rarely says much. She has very few friends, because she voluntarily distances herself from others. She believes that she'll just get hurt when those she gets close to get kidnapped by the Neighbors. She is really patient and serious and can concentrate very well, but she has low confidence and can't see her own potential. After meeting Yūma and joining Tamakoma Branch; however, she starts warming up to others and becoming more sociable and confident in herself. She is a kind-hearted person and admits to being terrified of hurting others.
hika is first seen in the end of Chapter 11, going to a bridge. In the next chapter, waiting for Osamu she's under the bridge. She checks the time on her cell phone, saying she seems to have arrived too soon. She then hears a noise and turns around to see Yūma, who fell to the ground while riding a bicycle. She asks him if he's alright, and he says he is.[citation needed]
Yūma says he thought there was a trick to holding the bicycle, and is surprised to know there's not. He then asks her if the Japanese received some kind of special training to ride bicycles, which causes Chika to ask herself if he's a foreigner, and he starts riding his bicycle again. While he's riding his bicycle, she answers a call from Osamu, and Yūma falls again. She then starts pushing him in the bicycle, which helps him learn how to, but causes him to fall inside the water.[citation needed]
After Yūma gets out of the water, he cleans himself, and they then introduce themselves to each other. Chika then notices something, and the Danger Alarm starts ringing. Yūma says it seems to be near, and that it must be in the danger zone. Chika then runs out, saying she has to go.[citation needed]
She sneaks into the danger zone, where she sees a Trion Soldier. Chika tries to clear her mind but her cell phone starts ringing, causing the Neighbor to see her. But before it can attack her, she's saved by Yūma, and then Osamu arrives and destroys it. Osamu, who called them both so that they could meet each other, then says he needs information from Yūma and Replica, saying Chika attracts Trion Soldiers.[citation needed]
Replica measures Chika's trion level and finds that it is enormous. This triggers the suspicion of the Miwa Squad, and they reveal themselves, believing Chika to be a Neighbor. Yūma clarifies that he is the Neighbor, and then they engage in a battle with him.
Chika is a veritable trion prodigy, boasting such high levels that she can output as much power as a Black Trigger while using a training Trigger. Her unwillingness to injure human and Neighbor opponents prevents her from making full use of this astounding gift, it still allows her to be a significant asset to her Squad by letting her utilize standard Border Triggers in unprecedented and inimitable ways. One of her main functions in Rank Wars was originally to intimidate opponents with her firepower, severely limiting their options. Although her mental block becoming common knowledge removed the threat of her sheer offensive power, she retains her unique ability to alter the topography of the battlefield to favor her allies and impede her enemies, destroying key structures and hiding spots. The addition of Lead Bullet to her Trigger Set enables her to fire at the enemy directly and hinder them so her teammates can finish them off. The combination of these two abilities makes her instrumental to her unit’s strategy based on wire zones
