Sunlight is undeniably the most important factor contributing to your plants well-being (or demise). I try to compile/summarise everything I’ve learnt from other plant gurus about this topic, as well as from personal experience. I briefly explain photosynthesis, plant evolution, definition of light levels, geography, seasons, and tips on how to maximise light for your plants. This is the only video you need to watch if you are learning about houseplants, or if you are an experienced plant parent who may want to forward this knowledge/lesson along to your less experienced counterparts.
As a reminder, here are my 6 light levels:
1. Low light
2. Medium light
3. Bright indirect light
4. Morning direct light
5. Direct light
6. Full Sun
I find it helpful to know your space light levels, and to communicate them using the right language as I know that we as a plant community is always helping out one another with troubleshooting.
