Donkey Kong Land is a platform video game for the Game Boy developed by Rare in 1995.
Donkey Kong Land's story takes place after the Donkey Kong Country (this is clearly stated in the information booklet). The game borrows many of the gameplay mechanics in Donkey Kong Country. Several gameplay mechanics were changed to adapt to the Game Boy.
