A great year on the PADI IDC Gili Islands with Industry Leading Multiple Award Winning Platinum PADI Course Director Holly Macleod with approximately 100 professional Divemaster's certified as Scuba Diving Instructors. It has been a fantastic year with candidates from (literally!) all around the world travelling to the Gili’s to complete their IDC as well as several former candidates and experienced Instructors joining us to continue their own professional development with Instructor Specialty courses, MSDT training and PADI IDC Staff Instructor internships.
If you are a professional Divemaster looking to take the next step in your professional diving career, 2020 has some exciting new components aimed at increasing the already high standard of professional Instructor training provided. The program is entirely conducted by Platinum rated PADI Course Director Holly Macleod who has a reputation for success and excellence and has won Multiple Awards for her Instructor training programs.
The course takes place at Trawangan Dive; the first ever established PADI 5 Star IDC Career Development Center (CDC) in the Gili Islands, Indonesia and home to the very best of training facilities available. With our own dedicated IDC classroom, 2 training pools all situated directly on the beachfront with easy access to a range of training sites.
The IDC is conducted by highly renowned award winning Platinum PADI Course Director Holly Macleod. Having worked in a variety of places across the world including Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, the Caribbean, Australia and of course Indonesia; Holly is able to advise her candidates of potential job opportunities, what to expect from potential jobs and of course what will be expected from them. Previously working with PADI 5 Star IDC Centers in Koh Tao, Perhentian Islands, Malapascua, Utila, Bali and Sydney, Holly has now been able to design and develop the perfect program in the Gili Islands incorporating the very best of educational techniques.
The course is conducted every month and is run on an 15 day schedule with an additional 3 days of pre IDC preparation. Although the course is a professional training program and certainly requires commitment from candidates; it is also a lot of fun and candidates will often make friendships and forge relationships that will last long after the IDC has finished and well into a career as successful Scuba Diving Instructors; ultimately making the first steps in networking themselves as a professional scuba educators with the industry.
