Recently installed a new VNT15 Garrett turbo on my 99 MK4 ALH TDI Jetta. I had been experiencing under boost when trying to go up hill and bad MPG. I installed a new N75 valve as well. Right away, noticed better response from turbo. When I opened up my old turbo, I noticed the guide pin for the vane mechanism was worn out, therefore displaying turbo lag.
The purpose of this video is to check if the turbo boost is appropriate.
