If that’s 👆🏽not enough reason for you to NOT sell those items then consider this 👇🏽
❌ When you sell items that are expensive to make, it diminishes your profit. Yes, you can raise the price to meet your desired profit, but you risk not making sales because your audience can’t afford it or doesn’t find that much value in it.
✅ BUT! If it is a specialty, niche item that fits your audience, has high demand, and you are filling that role happily and successfully… then by all means, carry on! 👏🏽
❌ Selling one off items that you don’t normally make or plan to make, creates waste. Wasted products and wasted money. We want to try to avoid it as much as possible.
✅ One off products can be great if you use everything in that one go or are going to use it again in another way. And if it makes you and your client happy of course!
❌ And there’s the key 👆🏽. You have to enjoy what you’re making, because your business will only last so long if you don’t. You will become tired and despise what you once loved.
✅ There’s nothing else to this one. You run your business, you choose what you make. That simple.
