How do you help a teenage son dealing with depression? It concerns me how much I get calls about teenage depression. If you're dealing with a depressed teenage son or daughter, you've come to the right place. Here are some of the signs and symptoms that you should be watching out for:
1. Feeling sad or blue
2. Crying frequently
3. Loss of interest or pleasure in usual activities
4. A significant increase of decrease in appetite
5. A significant weight loss or failing to gain weight or weight gain
6. A change in sleep pattern
7. Agitation, irritability, or anger
8. Fatigue or loss of energy
9. A tendency to isolate from friends and family
10. Trouble concentrating
11. Feelings of worthlessness or excessive guilt
12. Thoughts of suicide
Stick around for some of the things you can do about it.
