A wet weekend awaits Australia's southeast, with floods forcing thousands of people out of their homes. A major emergency has been declared in Victoria, the second-most populous state. At least one person has been reported missing. Some 4,700 homes have been left without power. Premier Daniel Andrews has said the worst is yet to come. Floods have repeatedly struck Australia's east coast since last year, because of back-to-back La Nina weather cycles, which bring more rain.
