In this piece I depict the city as being a living breathing form of energy with its own identity. A city contains so much life that it is given an ambiguous human like form. The masses of people blur together within the city creating a larger organism. The glowing lights pulsate in their own rhythmic heartbeat. A city constructed of mainly concrete and iron is given life, and replaces "nature". The city is now its own nature. Light recedes, and then returns. Similarly to how manufactured light takes the place of natural sunlight. The city contains so much life that it ultimately becomes its own organism, breathing, containing a heartbeat, blurred together showing the thin line between actual nature of people and fabricated objects. The video warns if this continues, it will ultimately destroy us. Inanimate objects should not portray naturalistic qualities. If we continue destroying the earth it will become devoid of nature, and a new essence will be placed upon the manufactured world.
