As the LGBTQ2S community continues to see more visibility, with events like Pride and Drag Queen Story Time becoming more present, misinformation has been spread both in the public and on social media.

From accusations of "grooming children" aimed at the community to calling gender-affirming care "mutilation," experts and members of the community are speaking out about why those claims are false.
