We fabricated flush mounted fender skirts by hand forming 5/16" round rod to the shape of the wheel opening. Then we applied two pins that will pin to the wheel lip then we sheathed the fender skirt with 18 gauge sheet metal... today we are going to cut the fender skirt off the car so that we can weld the locking mechanism on... we're hoping the fender skirt a) stays in shape and b) the locking mechanism works 😆
