An interesting methodology to get some new ways of improvising is by using John Coltrane pentatonic scales, while substituting these scale patterns over 2-5-1 chords. In this video, I'm going to teach you a unique pentatonic scale that John Coltrane improvised with and how to apply it and other pentatonic patterns to jazz chord progressions.
