The pronunciation of the Padmakumara Mantra: Root Guru Heart Mantra (short) is as follow:
"Om, gu-ru, lian-sheng, sid-dhi, hum."
༄༅༎ཨོཾ་གུ་རུ་པདྨ་སམ་སིདྡྷི་ཧཱུྃ༎
Padmakumara (Lotus Child) wears a jeweled Five-Buddha Crown (Dharma King crown.) His right hand presents the Dharma-Teaching Mudra while his left hand forms the Lotus-Holding Mudra. He is smiling and sitting majestically in the vajra position on a great white lotus throne. He appears majestic and dignified and his body radiates the brilliance of hundreds of jewels.
White Padmakumara is an emanation of "All Buddha Eyes Great Vajra Auspicious Heart Deity of All Buddha Mothers" whereas Buddha Locana is an emanation of Mahavairocana, who is the primordial central Buddha of the Five Buddhas. ''Padmakumara'' is the all-inclusive name for all the 18 Padmakumaras of Maha Twin-Lotus Ponds. White Padmakumara is the highest of the 18 Padmakumaras. There are countless additional Padmakumaras who are relatives of the 18 Padmakumaras.
Padmakumara is one of the Eight Principal Deities in our fundamental practice. I will upload the others in the upcoming future.
*NOTE: anyone can recite this mantra!!! This the short version of the mantra which is directly associated with the lineage of True Buddha School. For those who wish to receive the fullest amount of benefit from the recitation, consider taking refuge under H.H. Living Buddha Grandmaster Lian-Sheng.*
