Hello friends! In today's video, we'll learn how to combine the knit stitch and purl stitch to make the rib stitch! It's called the rib stitch because the fabric you make with it has ridges that look sort of like ribs.

I will also teach you more about how to "read" the fabric to help you keep track of when to knit and when to purl when you're knitting the rib stitch.
