Cape Cod Community College president Dr. John Cox; Rick Bsharah, chair of the engineering sciences and applied technology department; and their colleagues speak about the college’s commitment to STEM and the groundbreaking strides it has made in these educational fields in recent years.
The First Friday talk took place in the atrium of the college’s Lorusso Applied Technology Building, the first LEED-certified green building ever built with state dollars. The Frank and Maureen Wilkins Science Center is a 37,000-square-foot building that opened last fall and is a flagship hub for STEM education in the Commonwealth.
President Cox will open the discussion, which will highlight the college’s state-of-the-art robotics program, IT program, and more.
