This is my 5 month Press Handstand Progression plus some proven Tips & Drills.
You can use this timeline (1 block = 6 weeks):
- Block 1 ( 0:27 ): Straight to straddle against the wall. Here I explain typical beginner mistake when getting into straddle and how to fix it.
- Block 2 ( 1:45 ): Straddle and pike kickups. Negative press to L-Sit. This is how I unlocked straight handstand to L-Sit.
- Block 3 ( 3:02 ): Straight to pike with wall. Straddle to deep straddle. Straight handstand to L-Sit. Here I mastered the two most important things.
- Block 4 ( 5:20 ): Straddle press off boxes. Half press to handstand. Once you've the foundation, this is the most direct path to getting the press to handstand.
- Mobility ( 6:59 ): I did these 4 stretches once a week.
If you follow a similar progression and stick to these stretches you'll get the press handstand too. Peace.
