The number of people fleeing war, persecution and conflict has hit an unprecedented 79.5 million in 2019, according to UNHCR’s Global Trends report. The report shows that forced displacement is now affecting over one per cent of humanity — 1 in every 97 people. Of this, 26 million are refugees. This video shows the countries hosting them.
