About the Collection: The collection provided many interpretations of floral patterns, with a special emphasis on the rose, in contrast to the sterile, grey Brutalist backdrop of Tate Modern's subterranean show area. Since it was used as the symbol of peace during Henry VIII's Tudor era, the rose has special meaning in English culture. There were minidresses with trains that were made of stretch translucent mesh and digitally painted with hand-drawn roses in both pink and white and green and black.
