So today for History in a Minute we visit the Union Canal Marker in Bunker Hill, Lebanon County. This marker talks about the northern branch meeting at Union Waterworks and it's importance of bringing needed water and commerce, mainly anthracite coal to the main line to proceed to Reading, in the east or Middletown, in the west. The dam that was at Waterworks was sadly destroyed in the Agnes flood of 1972. So come along as we discover this hometown history. History is out there, my friends.
