The Standing Committee on Public Accounts is yet to decide on whether to proceed with a full inquiry into allegations of widespread corruption and criminal cartels at Eskom. While some MPs proposed the establishment of an ad hoc committee, others were skeptical, opting for SCOPA to investigate.
