FreeValve, who's backed by Christian von Koenigsegg of Koenigsegg Automotive, is a unique technology that looks to replace the entire valvetrain from the camshaft to the valve springs but it isn't F1 tech. At least not completely. This is a brief look at and comparison of the FreeValve system that debuted as Qoros' Qamfree engine on the Qoros 3 hatchback at the Beijing Auto Show in 2016.
