I have a large solo trip and wanted a way to provide some messaging capabilities to my loved ones for peace of mind as well as well as have an emergency 🆘 system in a life or death situation.

It also can track trips, send check ins, provide weather reports, and mapping through satellite.

I have been happy with the intuitive interface so far and am looking forward to testing this out in real conditions.

The subscription plan is what set it apart from the competitors for me with only a one month commitment with no activation charges. The smallest plan ($20) is cheap enough that if I wanted to use it for a weekend trip I could stomach it.
