NEW 2021 VIDEO Full game longplay of the first story DLC to Dishonored, The Knife of Dunwall, released in March 2013, Run on highest possible difficulty, Master Assassin, with All Runes/Bone Charms found, No Alerts, Full Ghost, Fully Non-Lethal/Alternative Solutions picked. Played and recorded in 1440p60, much better than my last video on this dlc in 1440p30 with fps drops. Although, this engine really hates OBS, there are still drops, even on my new pc, Ryzen 7 and a RTX 2060, so it's definitely the game arguing with OBS.
I think it is fairly known around here, that I am a huge fan of Dishonored 1 + DLC, and so here it is, in much better quality, 60 fps, on Master Assassin and all the goodness that comes with it, in just under 3 hours. Rating? 9/10. Dishonored Definitive Edition is a masterpiece to me. Much preferred to the Dishonored 2, which, btw, will come to my channel sooner or later. Buuuut I'm not sure about the difficulty yet, cause it seems to be much higher nominally than anything Dishonored 1 showed me, It's like Master Assassin is new Normal here. But I digress, I was playing on consoles in 30 fps, both ps4 and xbox series s. On pc, 60 fps and with mouse+keyboard, it should go much smoother. Will probably attempt an All Runes/Bone Charms first, and only then something with No Alerts on Very Hard later. Thanks for watching the video, do consider hitting that Like button and subscribing to the channel, so I can finally get the sweet vp9 codec from youtube overlords on my 1080p60 and lower resolution videos. (It's 500 or higher I think).
The Knife of Dunwall centers around Daud, leader of the Assassins and murderer of Empress Jessamine Kaldwin. Seeking redemption for killing the Empress, Daud is given a directive by the Outsider: unravel the mystery behind the name "Delilah." Daud sets out on a journey that includes stops in familiar places (the Whalers' base in the Flooded District) as well as areas of Dunwall not seen in Dishonored's main story, such as the Legal District and Slaughterhouse Row.
Like Corvo Attano, Daud is imbued with supernatural powers by the Outsider. Some of them are new, like Summon Assassin, which lets Daud call in acolytes for assistance in combat. Others are variations on Corvo's abilities, such as Void Gaze — which highlights runes and bone charms — and Blink, which, when used while standing still, also stops time. Daud also has an array of new gadgets at his disposal, including chokedust, a substance that dazes enemies, and arc mines.
The Knife of Dunwall serves as the first of two DLC add-ons focusing on Daud; Dishonored's final DLC, The Brigmore Witches, completes the arc.
