Cycling is booming in New York City. While NYC continues to promote cycling as a means of transportation, we also want to help cyclists identify our 175,000+ blind or low vision pedestrians, who might not see you coming. Through this campaign, we hope to increase awareness of vulnerable road users, especially our low vision or blind pedestrians who also want to enjoy the streets. Visit nyc.gov/accessibility to learn more about Cycle Eyes.
Remember to use your bell to signal your presence, always yield to pedestrians and follow NYC bicycle rules. More info available at nyc.gov/bikesmart.
