During the COVID-19 pandemic, gender-based violence in Indonesia rose at an alarming rate. In the regency of Jombang, a grassroots organisation, Women’s Crisis Center Jombang, works hand in hand with local advocates to support victims of violence, inspiring women in Jombang’s villages to help each other overcome difficult challenges.
