The Big Bang Theory, Season 6, Episode 12: "The Egg Salad Equivalency"
Alex is attending a Physics lecture and she invites Leonard. When he states he can't attend, she offers to share the lecture's highlights "over dinner". Leonard is stunned over being the object of attention from two beautiful women. While he states his undying commitment to Penny, he admits that Alex's interest makes him feel giddy. Raj is unhappy because he claims to have been "working on" Alex, though he still can't talk to her. Sheldon wants to deal with Alex's advances, because he feels his assistant's time should be 100 percent devoted to him. He requests advice from Penny, Bernadette and Amy, using fake names in a very obvious scenario that the girls see through. Penny wants to "kill" Alex and feels very insecure in her relationship with Leonard. With Leonard feeling good about being hit upon, the dynamic of his relationship with Penny is oddly reversed. Sheldon's talk with Alex includes asking her to control her innate "womanly sexual desires" in blunt language that she finds offensive. Alex files a complaint with the Human Resources administrator, who also finds Sheldon's comments and ideas on women grossly inappropriate. Defensive, Sheldon mentions related incidents involving the other guys, who then all have to visit Human Resources. Sheldon apologizes to Alex, but also wants her to take his on-line sexual harassment training for him as part of her job. To deal with her insecurities, Penny looks at some college level science classes and decides that they are all boring. Instead, she decides to just look like a scientist, and buys a pair of "smart" glasses to look the part. Leonard agrees that she looks both smart and hot, and pulls her into his bedroom.
