HP may have a serious static sensitivity issue with the Envy x360, where any small amount of static appears to cause the machine to shut-off. This happens quite reliably as shown in the video when barefoot on carpet. I'm not even talking about static that causes a spark. These are relatively low static levels you cannot even feel and will likely happen all the time. Mine shutdown no less than 10 times in 2 days. I returned mine (it was new) because I cannot live with this flaw. Sad because it is otherwise a nice laptop. I ended up getting the Spectre x360 instead and it works great. It's possible I just had a bad laptop because I don't see many people complaining about this.
