Is this RUSH? Hemispheres? Maybe some Caress of Steel? How about Necromancer or By-Tor and the Snow Dog? No, it is a band called Crown Lands that sounds exactly like Rush. Who would have thought?
Now, in this reaction I was blown away and had mixed feeling as to whether I would embrace this band after hearing them copy most of Rush' sounds, however, I googled it afterwards and it turns out that this band loves Rush and made 2 songs that were a tribute to RUSH. This is one of the songs.
They know that they sound like RUSH and they are inspired by RUSH so why not tribute them. This gave me much respect for this band and I cannot wait to hear more of them.
Every RUSh fan would act like me hearing this for the first time. It was literally ridiculous not knowing that it was a tribute. I was just blown away.
