The film features Sarathkumar in the title as well as lead role, with Raghava Lawrence, Lakshmi Rai, Kovai Sarala, Devadarshini in supporting roles. Kanchana is all about, Raghava Lawrence, a man who is scared of going outside, tries to conquer his fears by going to a ground that is supposedly haunted. However, he is soon possessed by a spirit who is out for revenge.
