Jason Segal is rumored to be in She-Hulk as The Thing. It is unclear if this will be the permanent cast for the Fantastic Four Movie, or if it will be simply a multiversal role, similar to John Krasinksi’s cameo as Reed Richards in Multiverse of Madness. Rumors are also circulating that the Fantastic Four won’t be included at the San Diego Comic Con presentation, but they will be at D23 in September.
The Russo Brothers who have made some of the best received movies in the entire MCU, such as the two Captain America sequels, as well as Infinity War and Endgame, recently denied being involved with Marvel. They were specifically asked about directing an unannounced Secret Wars movie, and they said that they would love to, it's their favorite story, they adore the people at Marvel, but they haven’t been talking to anyone at Marvel. We all know that these types of things can’t be taken at face value, but we know that the Russo brothers have been talking to Marvel, because just less than a year ago when Scarlett Johanson sued Disney, the Russo brothers said that their current talks with Marvel will be suspended due to how the lawsuit was being handled with Scarlett.
Thor Love and Thunder suffered a significant drop in the box office in it’s second weekend, dropping 67.7%. This is the second largest drop in the MCU, with Black Widow only being higher by 0.1%. This is likely due to poor word of mouth. For example, a movie like Top Gun Maverick, which has excellent word of mouth, only dropped by 29% in its second weekend.
Ashley Eckstein opened up about sharing the character of Ahsoka Tano with her live action counterpart Rosario Dawson. She said that she is grateful for all she’s been able to do with the character, and she’s excited to continue the character’s story in the upcoming animated show Tales of the Jedi.
On the topic of the Ahsoka show, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, who will play Sabine Wren, said that the show will be great for people who have seen Rebels, but it’s not necessary as they have a standalone story.
