From @motionzbiz5814 ,sharing my experience with my first ever credit limit increase request on my cash rewards credit card with NavyFederal Credit Union. I found out the hard way, not knowing the proper way to ask for a credit limit increase. So I only got $100 increase on my Cash Rewards credit card.
Navy Federal Credit Union is known for using an internal credit score. Also known for giving high credit limits, the internal credit score determines an applicant’s creditworthiness and unsecured credit allowance. NFCU’s internal credit score is an enigma and no one really knows the criteria used to arrive at such. This video provides a perspective on how internal scoring systems are used by all lending institutions to qualify a borrower.
