The mental health crisis can and will impact everyone, including athletes.
The mental health culture in athletics makes it difficult to accept or seek help as an athlete. Mental health issues are often overlooked by the athlete, teammates, and coaches since it may not be as obvious as a physical injury.
This is a call to action to help shift the mental health culture in sports and athletic environments for players and coaches.
