Animation (timelapse) of the 2012 typhoon season, with the first named storm forming in March, and the last over Christmas. This 10-minute animation puts together almost 3,000 images taken every 3 hours from Japan's MTSAT satellites. Small gaps in coverage around November 10th, and December 25th. Watch the clouds fly by!
