Alfred Ivey Jr. was found guilty of raping a minor and fathering a child through DNA evidence. Ivey appealed, claiming errors in the DNA expert's testimony and arguing that the statistical technique used was unreliable. He also claimed that he was entitled to a Daubert hearing, which was denied. However, the court found no errors and rejected Ivey's arguments, upholding his conviction.
