In today’s video, I found some melody loops I liked in Splice.

After using 2 of my 30,000 credits that I’ve yet to use, I downloaded the sample to Ableton Simpler and chopped it up to create a melody.

Then I added some drums.

Then some hi hats.

Then some bass… and it sounded really nice.

Then I added a little rain for ambiance.

And then a second melody.

And I ended up trashing the first melody.

Either way… I made a chill beat so we can’t complain.
