I would like to conduct high speed fluid mechanics experiments using this laser. I would like to use it for particle Image velocimetry application. To measure flow velocity in an experiment at higher speeds.
In a given experiment, we add seeding particles to the flow. The green laser light will be made into a laser light sheet (50 mm width) and then used to shine the particles. Using a high speed camera, the particles will be tracked with a time duration of 1 to 30 milliseconds. Those images will provide me the essential velocity information.
