In a now-deleted viral video, a TitTok user put forward a conspiracy theory that Titanic was switched with her sister ship Olympic in a scheme to sink the latter for insurance money. The theory isn't new and the TikTok user got a lot wrong about both Titanic history AND the theory, so in this video I go through the claims and respond.

While the original video has since been deleted and the TikTok user seems to have recanted, it still went viral with millions of views and was repeated across countless mass media pages. The theory itself always pops up in many places from others, so I believe a response is still necessary.
