St Thomas was easily one of our favorite ports to visit. With no excursion planned we took the opportunity to walk around the city of Charlotte Amalie. Though it is a US territory and had some level of familiarity to us as US citizens, St Thomas also has its own unique flavor that really makes it stand out from the rest of mainland US. Part of our exploration brought us to St John Brewers to try some local beer made right there in the USVI. In addition to this, we also spent time walking around the various shops and taking in the incredible views of the harbor. We also made our way up to Paradise Point via cable car to get by far the best view of the day. From here not only can you see all of the ships in the harbor, but also much farther inland. After our small taste of St Thomas, we can definitely say that we will be back to see more of the US Virgin Islands.
