Had to start the day off at Tacos Fitos. I’ve heard so many good things about this spot. They’re known for having the fastest taqueros in TJ. The way they cook and prepare the tacos are so cool. They put on a show. This cart only has 2 different tacos on the menu. Birria and tripa. Both were amazing. I would definitely go back.

All around this spot definitely has to be one of my favorite taquerias I’ve ever been to. From selection, to setup, to quality. Everything I ate there was so good, but the star of the show is their Adobada. Definitely the best I’ve ever had. So much flavor, great texture and the toppings made it so complex. Come here for the best loaded Tijuana style tacos.
TACOS EL BARNI

Word around town is that this spot has the best suadero cauldron in all of Tijuana. I have to say, I agree. I really loved the setup they had going on. Located in a neighborhood on the corner of a street. Very intimate eating experience. Everyone stopping by for tacos seemed like neighborhood locals. The family that ran the stand was so nice and welcoming. I ordered 2 tacos, tripa and suadero. Both were insanely delicious. One of the best eating experiences in Mexico so far! This stand reminded me of some of the street taco stands in CDMX. 100% recommend.
TACOS EL VAQUERO

I had to end the taco tour at the famous Tacos El Vaquero. This spot is a Sonoran Taqueria that specializes in special beef cuts. I’ve been waiting years to try this spot, so the anticipation built up like no other. I ended up ordering 3 different tacos, picaña, arrachera and bone barrow. Every single taco was next level. The quality was crazy good. I’ve never had picaña in a taco before and it was mind blowing. The meat cuts were so high quality. No toppings needed because the raw flavor was so rich. So happy I got to eat these tacos.
