They probably knew before they took him off the ice that it was an ACL tear, which means his season is over.


These guys are so agile, I am not surprised we don't see this injury more often. As you watch the video his skate just sticks and his body is not in a position to lift off the ice. Very unfortunate, especially at this point in the season, but at least it is a very manageable injury and he will be back next season.
