Even though epoxy tables are well-known for being sturdy, stout, and stable, cracks and flaws do happen. Watch Max from RDG as he repairs one of the first tables we ever made. A long crack developed along the longest part of the table due most probably from exposure to excessive heat from the exhaust fans of workstation/laptop. While these things do happen from time to time, it's good to know that there is a repair solution to bring the table back into its prime!
Bowties add extra support and stability to live edge tables. We use bowties all the time, but during the our early stages of doing builds, we did not. Watch how simple it can be to do it the "right way" even after the table has already been built.
