In this video, I have discussed about Photoshop interface (Lesson 2). You will learn where essential tools are found and how you can select them directly and with keyboard shortcuts and how many options are there for those tools. Here you will see the Photoshop Interface of 14.0 version. If you are using any different version then it may look slightly different but the overall look will reflect a similar Photoshop Interface.
This lesson, Photoshop Interface (Lesson 2) is in 2 versions as always. You can either watch the English or the Bangla version.

Hello viewers! In this lesson, I will introduce you with Photoshop interface. Right now, I am using Photoshop Creative Cloud 14.0 and if you are using Photoshop cs4 or any later versions then
the interface will be similar. If you go to the left and that's the tools palette that contains all the tools. It is also called toolbar. Each one of it is called a single tool if you put your cursor for a second you can see the name of the tool and in the first bracket the keyboard shortcut of it. If you just press the keyboard shortcut of that tool
and that tool will be selected immediately and when you're selecting any tool then you can see some other options here in this row. That's showing that other options for this tool. You can customize this and reapply them into your work and if you change
significantly and then want to go back to the default settings then you can click here go to the settings and then reset tool. That will reset that tool. You can also reset all the tools at once by clicking this and you can see a very small cursor inside of it then you can
press it for a while then you can see the other tools inside of it like this and then you can choose any other tool inside of it and then you can work with that tool and at the bottom you can see the color selector. Foreground and background color selector here and the quick masking mode and the change screen mode. You can change this by the keyboard shortcut 'F' Now I can show you this but if I drag and drop an image inside of the Photoshop then you can just press F from your keyboard and you can see the different screen mode. Right now, it's full screen mode. I can press escape to get rid of it and to the right of this row, this is the work-space. By default, it is set as Essentials you can press it to get a different work-space like if you select Painting then it will show some setups for that work-space. You can use them also you can change these palettes, close them or add them, customize them and then use in your work-space like this. Let's go back to the Essentials. At the top, this is a menu bar and there are file, edit, image, layer and inside of them there are a lot of options we will learn them as we go and on the right, there are some other palettes and you can see the History, the layer palette. I think the layer palette is the most important because when you are working with an image and make some changes you will need to make individual layers for the changes. That's that will be a good idea because whenever you want to revert any changes then you can work on that layer rather than working on the entire image and if anytime you lose any of the
palettes you can find it. If that's the case then you can go to window and select that palette and that will be it. and you can again send it back to its own dock like this. So basically you will be
doing selecting any of the tool from here, editing with it and then
maintaining the changes within different layers in here and then if necessary, you can revert your changes from the history and finally after completion of the editing, you can save it and exit the software. So that's pretty much of it. Thanks for watching. Hope to see you guys in the next lessons. Thank you.
