This video is slightly... well...very, different from my usual content, but here's a pet supplies haul from Taobao! I hope it's a refreshing change which will be helpful for you pet owners out there!
Some backstory, I adopted my dog Poppie, from a local shelter on the 4th of July 2021 (easy date to remember, I know!) I wasn't quite sure if I was ready for another dog in my life after my dogs, Sushi and Muffin passed away in 20120& 2019 respectively, but I'm so glad I made the choice to adopt.
Going into the shelter, I wasn't quite sure what dog I was even looking at - I just knew I wanted a small-medium sized dog, that could fit into my lazy yet outgoing lifestyle.. ideally somedog who'd enjoy naps on the couch, and lazing by the pool or on the beach! There was really no way of telling what dog I'd end up with because shelter dogs tend to be traumatized from their experiences and it takes time to reveal their personality. I count my lucky stars that I found Poppie, because she is just the perfect little thing for me, and I couldn't have asked for a better companion.
Anyway, because I wasn't sure what dog I was getting, I was also very ill-prepared in terms of supplies. Not only is the selection limited in Singapore, but the prettier things also tend to get quite pricey. I'd find myself liking a harness, only to realize that it has a huge logo on the side that I don't fancy, so it was a little tough shopping for pet supplies, even though there are like 3 pet stores within 300m of my studio.
