I had the wonderful opportunity to play a new C. Bechstein Model B, fresh out of the box from Germany. It is a beautiful piano with one of the most incredible melodic sounds that I have ever heard, a fantastic bass, crystalline treble, and responsive action - pretty much everything you need from a world-class piano. It's a shame that C. Bechsteins are so rare here in the States, but it's great that Benjamin Kim wants to change that!
