One of the most famous WW2 pilots, Hans-Ulrich Rudel was downed by enemy fire dozens of times. In some of those cases he was wounded, but he was able to avoid any permanent injury through thousands of combat missions. But on 09 February 1945 when a report of Soviet tanks crossing the Oder river came through, Rudel would lost his usual composure and he decided to take a much greater risk than ever before.
